DOMAINE DE MARTINOLLES, PINOT NOIR

2016, SAINT HILAIRE, FRANCE

THE PRODUCER

There is a little road along the Martinollet small river that winds through vineyards and olive trees and takes you to Château Martinolles. This small estate sits in a region rich in heritage; it is indeed very close to the Saint-Hilaire Abbey which saw the birth of the first sparkling wines back in 1531. The rugged climate and topography create superb terroirs that produce fine Chardonnay, Mauzac and Pinot Noir grapes. These wines are faithful to their terroirs and heritage and are truly wonderful representations of their respective varietal.
