Barbara started the winery in 2004. Her vision was to develop Riesling, Grüner Veltliner and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) that showed true regional character using a single vineyard philosophy. The production is tiny, so small that we are the first people to represent the wines outside of Austria and Germany, just managing to beg Barbara for enough wine to sell to the UK market. The wines are an expression of purity and that is at the core of these wines. They have an almost alpine quality – loads of minerality, herbaceous notes and an ice cold crisp finish.
