As ever, the great wines in The Knotted Vine portfolio are never far away from the trade and consumer press, with recent producers getting the nod including Cossetti, Ministry of Clouds and David Franz.

Cossetti’s Barbera d’Asti La Vigna Vecchia 2014 was reviewed in the latest issue of The Wine Merchant where is was labelled ‘gorgeous stuff with deep, dark currents of chocolate and medicine’.

Ministry of Clouds was also referenced in the same issue in David Williams’ feature exploring small, experimental, terroir-obsessed winemakers in Australia. They certainly tick all those boxes.

Finally, wine journalist Natasha Hughes MW was particularly impressed by the Long Gully Road Semillon from David Franz which she tasted at Wine Australia’s Inspired Tasting.

“I put the Long Gully Road Semillon up as my recommendation for the Australia Inspired tasting last week and it went down a storm! Everyone I spoke to thought it was fab (and knocked the Hunter Valley Sem sitting next to it into a cocked hat)!”, she said.

High praise indeed.
